YES I SAID IT
Updated 9 September 2026

Terms

The rules the site already enforces, written down. Where this page and the product disagree, the product is the bug.

01What this is

Yes I Said It is a place to say one thing in 280 characters and find out how many people agree. Reading it needs no account. Saying something, agreeing with something, or answering somebody back does.

These terms are the agreement between you and Yes I Said It. Using the site means you accept them.

02Your account

One account per person. Your handle is public and sits on everything you say, including anything you said under a previous handle.

You are responsible for what happens through your account. If you lose access to the X or Google account you signed in with, you lose access to this one.

You must be at least 16 years old.

03What you say stays yours

You keep ownership of everything you post. We claim none of it.

By posting it you allow us to display it on the site, put it on the share cards the product generates, and let other people link to it and quote it. That permission is what makes the product work, and it lasts as long as the post is up.

It ends when you delete the post, except for copies other people have already made, which are beyond anyone here to recall.

04The rules

Post your own words. Accounts that copy and paste other people at volume get removed.

Aim at ideas, companies and public figures. Not your neighbour, not your colleague, not a private person by name.

Nothing illegal. Threats, harassment and doxxing are removed, and the account behind them is blocked.

Disagreeing with someone is not a reason to report them. There is a button for disagreeing, and answering back is the whole point of the place.

05Credits

Saying one thing costs one credit, and so does answering somebody back. Agreeing and reacting cost nothing and always will. You get 5 when you join.

Credits are not money. They cannot be transferred, cashed out or refunded, and they carry no value outside this site.

They do not expire.

Card payments are not switched on yet. When they are, these terms will say what happens to a purchase, and the date at the top will change.

06Moderation

Reports go to a person, not a filter.

We can remove a post or block an account when the rules are broken. We try to be proportionate, and a first mistake is usually just a removal.

Every moderation action is recorded, so a decision can be looked at again.

07Deleting

You can delete anything you have posted, at any time.

The credit that paid for it is not refunded. The credit bought the act of saying it, and you said it.

Answers other people wrote survive, because they are their words. They will show that the post they answered is gone.

08What we do not promise

The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, that nothing will ever be lost, or that you will find everything on it agreeable.

We are not responsible for what other people post. If something breaks the rules, report it.

Nothing here limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

09Ending it

You can stop using the site whenever you like, and ask us to delete the account.

We can suspend or close an account that repeatedly breaks the rules or puts the site or other people at risk.

10Changes and law

If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and the change is announced rather than made quietly.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
