Privacy

Everything you say here is public and has your handle on it. That is the point of the site, not a side effect.

We hold almost nothing else. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking of any kind, and exactly one cookie, which keeps you signed in.

We have never sold data and there is no arrangement under which we would.

You sign in with X or with Google. They tell us an account identifier and an email address. That exchange is handled by Supabase Auth, and the email lives in their auth store rather than in the part of the database this site reads.

We never display your email, we do not send marketing to it, and nothing on the site exposes it to another person.

The only thing we copy out is a first suggestion for your handle, taken from your username on that service. You can change it whenever you like.

Your account row holds four things: your handle, how many credits you have left, when you joined, and whether the account has been blocked.

That is the whole of it. No name, no location, no device fingerprint, no address book, no photograph.

Your handle. Everything you have said and every answer you have given. The date each one went up. How many people agreed with it and how they reacted.

All of that appears on the site, in the share cards, and in search engines. Assume anything you post can be screenshotted and outlive the account.

When you agree with an opinion we record that it was you, because agreeing has to count once and only once. The site shows the total, never the list of names.

The same is true of the three reactions. Nobody, including the person who posted, can see which of them you chose.

When you report something, we keep what you wrote and who you are. The people who moderate can see both, because a report from nobody in particular cannot be acted on.

One cookie, holding your sign-in session. Without it you would be signed out on every page.

There are no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party scripts on any page of this site. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

Supabase runs the database and the sign-in service. Vercel hosts the site and keeps short-lived request logs, which include IP addresses, as any web server does.

X and Google see that you signed in, but only if you chose them to sign in with.

That is the complete list. No advertising networks, no data brokers, no analytics vendors.

You can delete anything you have said, from your account page. It disappears from the site. Answers other people wrote to it survive, because they are their words and not yours.

There is no button yet for deleting a whole account. Until there is, write to hello@yesisaidit.world and we will remove the account and everything posted from it. We will do it within thirty days and usually much sooner.

Backups roll off on their own within a short window, so a deleted thing can persist in a backup briefly after it has gone from the site.

Depending on where you live you may have the right to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to object to us holding it at all.

Ask at hello@yesisaidit.world. We will not require a form, a reason, or an explanation.

This site is not for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly keep accounts for people below that age, and we will delete one if we learn of it.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it and the change will be announced on the site rather than made quietly.
